This submission to the Committee on the Elimination of Discrimination Against Women at the 80th Session of the Pre-sessional working group has been prepared as a collaboration between several civil society groups in Chile and in the region. It provides important context to the forthcoming constitutional reforms. The report analyses a number of substantive gender equality issues which found exposure during the social unrest that began in October 2019. The report outlines a number of key tax justice and gender equality questions for the Committee to address.
